Because of the volcano eruption in Iceland I was not able to make it to the Game of Skills contest in Vienna. That really sucked! But I have already a new competition on my mind. From 8 till 9 May I'll be in Solothurn, Switzerland for the Bike Days!
The McDonalds commerical flyer is done! People have been texting, calling me that i'm in the news paper all morning. My girlfriend was kind enough to send me a photo, since the news paper is only at the train, subway stations. Check it out. The new McDez;)!
After 2 years of thinking about this link i finally pulled it.
Almost 2 years ago I pulled the kickflip(referd as a presureflip by Big E) I didn't pull the trick after that again. I also didn't tried to, since I thought i would be awesome to just pull this trick once as a magical thing that happened in Osaka, Japan. And since the rider that pulled the first kickflip in the link (halfhiker to halfpacker) is from Osaka and pulled it there also for the first time, it just makes the trick even cooler! Just a small history note, since a lot of riders think Kuga Hidekazu invented this trick. I can't remember the rider his name that did, but I know I saw it for the first time in a "KOG round 2 expert class" video from 2005 and after that i saw it again in "Yellow RUM Fever" done by the same rider.
Until Thursday a week ago, I didn't pull the trick again. Michael pushed me to start practicing it again, and since Viki is ripping it with kickflips, I can't stay behind! The trick is coming more often, hopefully I can get it dialed for the upcoming competitions.
But for now you'll have to do it with this video! Enjoy!

Some extra thing i want to ad about my bike is, that i really love the Deep frame! The geometry is perfect for my riding! I just changed my rims and really love the look! I had to change my pegs recently, but I immediately put the caps back on. I also swapped my Ares 140mm cranks, for a pair Suelo 160mm, witch is much nicer for pedal hang-five tricks! I also found a way to make to customized seat look more professional! Important for me is that my bike is strong! I really love the odyssey fork because of the long steering-tube and because its incredibly strong! The same goes for the Deep frame, everything is so stiff and nothing looks really breakable, a lot of companies could learn from this, instead of only trying to make there frames lighter. My bike isn't super light right now, but at least I know it can resist a lot!
