After having a lot of good comments about my seat, I thought it was usefull to make an propper "How-To" costumize your Macneil S.L. seat (or any brand with this type of seats).

I have my seat 8 months now and it's still in perfect shape, only a little bit sliden because of the backwheel tricks. With this seat you will have a hell lot more space! And, it's soft, not hard like the KHE Watanabe so no more hammeriods. With some modification it has the perfect hold too. Here is how to make one yourself!

Supply list:
- Screwdriver
- Saw
- Scissor
- Staple Pistol
- Dremel/Drill

Step 1:
Leave the seat on the bike, just put the bike upside down. Remove the plastic peace first, and then remove the staples. After you have done that, remove the leather kindly all the way to the back. Then, you take a saw and cut it before the first rail.

Step 2:
For this part you need a "Dremel" or a drill with the right part. I use a sandpaper tool to remove the first rail of the seat. This is for better holding. But you have to be gentel that you don't remove to mutch.

Step 3

This is to give it a nice finnish up! You use the "Dremel" again with the sandpaper tool to make the nose nice and round. After that you flip over the leather and thight it with the "Staple Pistol". Then you cut of the extra leather and your seat is ready to be used!

It's going to cost you around 30 min with the right tools but its totally worth it! I wish you good luck. Oh and know im not responsible for if anything goes wrong ;)
